Crime, pollution (in its many forms), economy, sustainability, and distance. I say distance because if you go back to the era of the Myans and the Incas, there was a similar society but the challenge was always the distance from food and other societies. We are facing similar global problems where the distance to local corn, rice and so on is heavily being affected. Many things to consider on this one.
